Rep. Jim Renacci (OH-16) will host a Northeast Ohio Job Fair at Brunswick High School on Friday, July 18, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Over 25 employers from Northeast Ohio will participate, including UPS, Vitamix, GOJO Industries, and Lumitex. There is no admission fee and all job seekers are invited to attend.
“Though I was encouraged to see the unemployment rate tick down this past month, I remain concerned about our economic recovery. Our labor force participation rate indicates that more and more people are dropping out of the workforce or giving up their search for work all together. We can and must be doing more to help our job creators hire and expand,” said Rep. Jim Renacci. “The House has acted to pass dozens of jobs bills that still remain stalled in the Senate, and I will continue to put forward pro-growth solutions that will get our economy moving again. I am hopeful that our Northeast Ohio Job Fair will prove helpful to job seekers living in Ohio’s 16th District, and I encourage all of those who are looking for work to attend.”
