Washington, D.C. – Yesterday Congressman Renacci voted in support of H.R. 435 - The Credit Access and Inclusion Act of 2017, which passed the House.

“As an original co-sponsor of this bipartisan bill, I believe it’s important to find avenues to allow low-income individuals an opportunity to increase their access to credit,” said Renacci. “With this legislation, we can tap into utility bills and use on-time payments as information to support the decision to provide credit. I introduced similar legislation in my first term in Congress and have been working tirelessly ever since to get this passed by the House and hopefully signed into law. ”
