Washington, D.C.- This morning, Congressman Jim Renacci congratulated Sydney Greven of Green High School, the 16th district's winning artist for the Congressional Art Competition.

“I'm a big believer in pursuing your passions and working hard to achieve your dreams,” Renacci said. “I'm so happy to have been able to congratulate Sydney on her award-winning artwork.”

The Congressional Art Competition began in 1982 to provide an opportunity for members of Congress to encourage and recognize the artistic talents of their young constituents. Since then, over 650,000 high school students have been involved with the nationwide competition.

Sydney’s artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a year.
