This afternoon, Congressman Jim Renacci (R-OH) released the following statement regarding the Singapore Summit:

“Coming from the business world, where we have to take bold steps to see results, I applaud our President for spearheading the United States’ participation in the Singapore Summit. However, this is just the beginning of negotiations, and we must never waiver on our demand for the 100%, verifiable, and irreversible denuclearization of North Korea. Peace in the Korean Peninsula can only be achieved once this happens, and I am hopeful this summit marks the beginning of a path toward that reality.”
