Washington, DC—Today, U.S. Representative Jim Renacci (OH-16) issued the following statement regarding the newly proposed Ohio Congressional map:

“It is an honor to serve as the 16th District’s representative to Washington. For the past eight months I have been steadfastly committed to working for my constituents in our nation’s capital. That will not change, regardless of any proposed changes to Ohio’s Congressional map. I remain focused on rebuilding our broken economy and tackling the issues facing northeast Ohio and the United States.”

Rep. Renacci is serving his first term in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he is a member of the Financial Services Committee. Prior to his election he worked as a Certified Public Accountant in the health care industry, and owned and operated over 60 other businesses in the automotive and sports management fields.
