Medina, OH-  On August 28th from 12:00 – 3:00 P.M. Congressman Renacci will be hosting a Tax Problem Solving Day at the Medina County Library’s downtown branch, 210 S. Broadway St., Medina, Ohio 44256.

Members of the community are encouraged to bring their questions about taxes and the IRS to the event. Representatives from the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS), Community Legal Aid, and the Office of Congressman Jim Renacci will be available to assist those having difficulty dealing with the IRS or facing tax problems. Interested persons should bring a photo ID for assistance.  

The Taxpayer Advocate Service will provide guidance on resolving tax problems with the IRS for taxpayers whose problems are causing financial difficulty. This will be an opportunity for taxpayers to speak directly with a representative from the IRS.

Community Legal Aid will provide legal information and advice regarding tax issues. Community Legal Aid will have representatives available who can specifically help veterans navigate tax issues and federal agencies.
