WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Jim Renacci (R-OH) announced the 2017 Congressional Art Competition showcase dates. The Congressional Art Competition is open to any high school student living in the 16th District.
All participants will have their artwork displayed in a week-long gallery show open to the public at the Brunswick Public Library from April 3rd to April 7th. Recognition will be given to all participating schools, students, and art programs. Three winners will have their artwork displayed in Congressman Renacci’s Washington, DC office with the overall Best in Show piece displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building for one year.
The student whose artwork was selected Best in Show will also receive a trip for two to Washington, D.C. in recognition of their submission.
